Danny Morgan has carved a permanent niche for himself on Florida's Sanibel and Captiva Islands
CASSETTE - Tropical rock with a laid-back Island feel, Jimmy Buffett meets James Taylor. ;Captiva Moon is a wonderful collection of Danny's compositions about adventure, hope, love and appreciation of the island lifestyle. The performances of these songs display a wide variety of musical textures, but always reflect Danny's unique style of tropical folk-rock. Along with his regular cast of fine players, Danny is joined this time by a few of his more famous friends. Craig Fuller (the lead singer / guitarist of Pure Prairie League and former lead vocalist of Little Feat), sings two songs with Danny. Sam Clayton (of Jimmy Buffett fame), plays congas. Mike Reid (grammy award- winning songwriter and former CBS recording artist), plays piano, keyboards and contributes his special vocal styling. Rick Fox (of the Adrian Belew / David Bowie bands), also helps with the keyboard chores.
